The worlds leading software provider for the magazine industry is looking for a software developer with at least two years programming experience in VB.net. Successful candidate will also have a strong working knowledge with SQL, ASP, JavaScript, Coolite, visual studio and supporting programs necessary to develop in the .net framework. Company is based in downtown Fort Lauderdale and is growing quickly. Developer will be helping to develop several media industry web based applications using the latest technologies from Microsoft. Main software products are fully integrated (contact, circulation, distribution, accounting, pagination and digital on-line magazine) management systems for the media industry. Experience with database application service providers, contact management software and internet IT solutions is a valued.

Requirements:
BS Degree in technology, business or related curriculum 3+ years experience with ASP and Visual Basic COM+ development Hands on experience with current Internet standards and web markup or scripting languages such as HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, ASPX Transact SQL skills and SQL Server database design understanding Must be able to work in a time-critical environment Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Work well independently and within a team environment Familiarity with CRM or ERM systems valued Work on accounting or billing systems valued
